Event Parking 

Public Safety and Security has the authority to close parking lots for special events sponsored by or held at the University. Groups or persons having a special event requiring parking on the Seton Hall University campus must contact Sergio Oliva at 973-275-2814 or olivaedw@shu.edu for arrangements.

If you are attending an event at the university and have not been issued a guest permit previously, you should stop at the guard booth at either Farinella Gate or Ward Place Gate to obtain a permit. Any person who is not a student, faculty member, employee, recreation center member or a regularly contracted vendor/contractor is considered a guest. The permit is good for one day only and invalid after 11:59 p.m. The guard at the booth can also direct you where to park.

During special events, permit requirements may be waived but this is not the norm and we ask that all guests please remember to stop for a permit as they enter campus. Any vehicle parked on university property must display a permit at all times. We hope you enjoy your visit to our campus.
